End of Calibration and support for TSC Amigo™ & U31 Instruments

From: Tuesday, September 15, 2020

Following the official End of Life (EOL) communication in February 2019, and end of support announced in February 2020, the purpose of this communication is to inform our customers of the official end of calibration and support date for the legacy TSC Amigo™ and U31 ACFM® instruments. Being in the field since 2000 and 2001, both instruments have already been replaced by the more capable TSC Amigo 2 and U41 ACFM® units.

Calibrations of the legacy TSC Amigo™ and U31 will be supported on a best-efforts basis, when no repairs are needed, for units delivered to the TSC office in Milton Keynes UK before November 30th, 2020. After that date, calibrations and service will no longer be provided for those instruments. Due to increasing problems with obtaining replacement parts, combined to most ACFM customers moving to latest technologies with the Amigo 2 and the U41, it is no longer sustainable to support legacy units with the required parts and competency level to perform repairs and calibrations.
